Participants traveling to Kathmandu, Nepal for the 4th APAC IPv6 Council Meeting can obtain a Visa on Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

Travel Tips for Nepal

✈️ Airport

The main international airport in Kathmandu is Tribhuvan International Airport. It is the primary entry point for international travelers visiting Nepal.

💵 Currency

The local currency is the Nepalese Rupee (NPR). Currency exchange services are available at the airport and throughout the city. It is advisable to carry some cash for small expenses.

🚕 Local Transportation

Taxis are easily available from the airport and around the city. Ride-hailing apps and hotel-arranged transport are also commonly used.

🌤️ Weather in April

April is generally pleasant in Kathmandu, with daytime temperatures ranging between 20°C and 28°C. Light clothing is suitable for daytime, but carrying a light jacket for the evenings is recommended.
