After Osborn reveals that he knows Peter is Spider-Man, he tells him that he will keep his secret safe. This still haunts Peter even when he returns home. Although Nico offers to take Peter to the movies, Peter tells him that he will have dinner with Osborn. In an empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he is not Spider-Man, but he realizes the lie. He reveals that after saving his son Harry, he began collecting possible candidates for who Spider-Man is, eventually landing on Amadeus, Jean, Asha, and Peter. He offers his services to help, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open and checks.
